They embody everything wrong with a culture that rewards outrage over reason and entitlement over personal responsibility. As Christians, we’re called to patience and grace, but Scripture also tells us to rebuke evil and stand for truth. Karens represent petty tyranny in everyday life, and they’re a symptom of a deeper rot where accountability is gone and feelings trump facts. We’ve all dealt with them at stores, schools, or neighborhoods, and it’s time we call it out plainly: this behavior isn’t “strong woman” energy, it’s sinful pride run amok. Enough is enough.

I have conversations with my 14-year-old son that black sharecroppers had with their sons. I imagine those conversations went something like this: “Son, God made you in His image so be proud of who you are and the way God made you.”, “Son, your black skin is beautiful. You were made perfectly by God!”, and maybe, “Son, don’t you ever let anyone demean you, denigrate you, or make you feel less than because of the color of your skin.”, and finally I believe that black sharecropper shared my contempt for racists, “Son, fuck all them racists!”

But this Venezuela operation has critics, even in MAGA circles, saying it’s straying from putting our country absolutely first. No endless wars, no nation-building abroad when our own house needs order. As Christians and patriots, we pray for wisdom for our leaders. Trump has the mandate to secure our sovereignty, protect our families, and restore biblical values here. Let’s urge him and Congress to double down on sealing the border completely, deporting every illegal who shouldn’t be here, and tackling the affordability crisis hitting hardworking Americans. Venezuela’s oil and drugs matter only if they threaten us directly, but our focus must stay laser-sharp on reviving this republic God blessed us with.
