Washington

The world and our nation are on fire!

This chapter that I wrote in my book, TREASON, is more spot on than in any time in my life.

America needs a leader that has the nation’s wellbeing as the guiding light, this leader’s North Star.

We need a decisive leader that will not hesitate to pull the trigger on painful but necessary actions.

America needs a President George Washington right now.

I believe President Trump will step into that role.

Only President Trump’s actions in the coming days, weeks, months and years will decide if he can stand on the same pedestal as President Washington!

Chapter 16

TRUMP and WASHINGTON

A hundred years from now, historians are going to write volumes and volumes of books describing this period in history. Truly great historians have a unique way of peeling away the emotions, political fervor, and the biases of that specific time in order to write historical documents that are factually correct. Historians will look back on the early 2000s and scoff at the level of insanity. They will be appalled at what the average citizen accepted as truth even when the “truth” was proven to be lies. Historians will be shocked at the level of propaganda, lies, and deceit that our own government forced onto their citizens. Historians will also rightly portray the brave individuals that fought, in the face of adversity and evil, for the sovereignty and protection of the United States of America as patriots.

Historians will write about one specific man that saved America and guided her to a future of prosperity in the face of extreme adversity: Donald J. Trump.

I have a book on George Washington sitting on my desk titled, The Real George Washington by Jay A. Parry and it is at least three inches thick. It is also one of my all-time favorite books. George Washington is a historical hero of mine, and I firmly believe that Washington earned and deserves the title of The Indispensable Man. Without George Washington, there is no United States of America. Could the colonies have eventually formed the United States, maybe, but with complete certainty, I ascertain it would not resemble the United States of America forged under the leadership of George Washington. As I read about the founding of our nation and the trials and insurmountable challenges it faced, I am always intrigued by how a single leader would emerge from uncertainty and turmoil to lead the charge of change. It is easy to sit in my office and type away about the greatness of Washington, but it would be another completely different experience to have walked in his boots for just one day. What a giant in American history.

One hundred years from now, there will be another man like me writing about another point in American history that threatened to destroy the Republic. That man will look back into history and he will use Donald Trump as the example of strength, determination, unshakable optimism, and patriotism, as I have used George Washington. At first glance, the side-by-side comparison of these two men would make them seem incredibly different with no apparent similarities. However, strip away the clothes and stop the comparison of modern times to the founding of our nation over two hundred years ago and you realize they are more similar than not. They are cut from the same cloth and share the same qualities of determination and strength that singularly focused leaders possess. The most profound similarity is they both have a belief that they were called by God. Both men proclaim God is divine and that He is all powerful. I am not suggesting that Trump is as articulate about God as Washington was, but I am making the claim that both men feel touched by God. That belief that God had dominion over them is a powerful driving force in their lives that almost forces them forward.

George Washington wrote a letter to Reverend John Rodgers in June of 1783 proclaiming, “Glorious indeed has been our Contest: glorious, if we consider the Prize for which we have contended, and glorious in its Issue; but in the midst of our Joys, I hope we shall not forget that, to divine Providence is to be ascribed the Glory and the Praise.”147 Washington’s faith in God is undeniable. His belief that God’s hand was guiding the colonies to ensure the creation of the United States of America was firmly imprinted in Washington’s writings and speeches. Trump, though less eloquent, feels the same about God and the nation He created. Many individuals on the Left mock any talk about a higher power, Divine Providence, or just the whisper of his name – God. They now mock Trump as they believe Trump is using God as a sort of political tool. Christians believe Trump to be sincere because no man could have walked through the valley of darkness and emerge from that darkness unchanged. If a man survived that type of intense fire, and ascended from the ashes, he could easily be changed into a man of resentment, anger, and violence. Or that same white-hot fire, could change a man’s life for the better and be yoked to God in a deeper relationship. I believe the latter happened to Trump. Trump’s life, in all matters, changed toward the direction of God and I believe Trump began to understand that his life is not his own but belongs to the will of God. Many Christians look at Trump as a living example of the figures written about in the Bible. God used flawed and sinful men to lead His people and speak His words. I believe Trump’s belief in God was solidified when he walked away from the attempt on his life in July 2024. In a speech, to the 11th Hour Faith Leaders in Concord, North Carolina, Trump stated,

“But as I look back at my life’s journey and events, I now recognize that it’s been the hand of God leading me to where I am today. And my faith took on new meaning on July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania, where I was knocked to the ground, essentially, by what seemed like a supernatural hand…I would like to think that God saved me for a purpose. And that’s to make our country greater than ever before.”148
