How did we get here?
I can imagine the cries of “How did we get here?” when more illegal alien children are found working in sex circuits across America. I can hear that same cry when terrorist attacks are occurring in big cities and small towns throughout our nation. I can imagine those words being screamed as crime soars in every corner of America. I can hear the pain in Americans voices when they are unemployed, underpaid, or can’t get help from the government they paid for because all resources have been given to foreign nationals. I can also hear the snickers and taunts from our “leaders” as America fundamentally transforms to a nation we do not recognize. That laughter directed at Americans from our “leaders” will be the language used to let us all know that we no longer matter. The greatest irony will be “How did we get here?” will be the least of our worries.

Historians will write volumes about the demise of America. The same way historians have written volumes about the fall of Rome and Greece. I am sure the same hubris and arrogance permeated throughout the elites in Greece and Rome as it does with our elites. As I am sure of Greeks and Roman’s hubris and arrogance, I am convinced that the citizens of those great empires were broken into the same two categories Americans find themselves in today: Utterly ignorant or utterly frustrated and angry.
Americans that are utterly ignorant are individuals that are narcissistic or willfully uniformed. These Americans are fearful and find comfort in their lack of knowledge. There is a segment of this group of Americans that are good people that are working so hard to stay afloat that they just put their heads down and try to grind out a life. The other segment of America that is utterly frustrated and angry is the majority. I place myself in this category.
I believe we are angry because we find ourselves in a world that is irrational and void of any common sense. Not only do we find ourselves in this insane world, but we are led by individuals that are incompetent, stupid, and corrupt. Then to add insult to injury, we are continuously insulted by our elected representatives and elites as being rubes, racist, Nazis, and intolerant.
There is an enormous divide in America today. The adage of meeting in the middle no longer applies. Even though corruption has existed from the beginning of time, Americans on both sides of the isle loved and cherished America. Those days are long gone. We have elected representatives that want to and are fundamentally transforming America into a nation that is unrecognizable. So where is the middle?
Do I meet the Left and the anti-Americans on border and immigration issues by allowing 10 million illegal aliens into our nation instead of 20 million? Do I allow women to kill their babies at the halfway point of their pregnancies? Do I allow parents to mutilate their children’s bodies at 9 years old instead of when they are adults at 18? Where is the middle of men can have babies? Is it ok for politicians to enter the government with modest assets then leave with 50 million in assets instead of 100 million? Is the middle ground to only send 5 trillion dollars overseas instead of the 10 trillion we have spent on Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, South America, Ukraine, etc. in the last 25 years?
The United States of America has taken the wrong fork in the road. We have become a nation mired in sin and moral decay. Name an institution in America that you believe in, that you trust? Is it the FBI? Is it the CIA? Is it your local law enforcement? Is it your doctor or hospitals? Is it the media? Is it your religion? Is it the leaders of your house of worship? Is it the education system?
We are in a fight for the soul of our nation. America was founded and has thrived because we were a nation rooted in Judeo-Christian values and beliefs. We are now a nation on the brink because we have all, on some level, sat silently as those Judeo-Christian values and beliefs were trampled on.
America is in a fight between good versus evil. We can all feel that our lives and the lives of our nation are off center. That something is wrong.
How did we get here? If we are honest, we all know how.
