On Monday before my nightly show, I was very calm. Too calm because I am always excited and amped to do my show, to speak the truth. I was still excited but not on edge as I always am.
As my show started and my producer was playing the “Cold Open” of the several Charlie Kirk clips I compiled, it hit me was I so calm. I was calm because chaos was reigning in our nation, in the world. I get more and more calm as the world around me dives into madness.
Chaos eventually turns to violence and violence destroys.
America is not immune to this historical truth.
Throughout my 24-year career in the United States Border Patrol, I ran large and small task forces. I ran an ATV unit during the most violent time in San Diego Sector, and I supervised a 60-man unit that tracked and took down Sinaloa Drug Cartel loads on the Pacific coastline from San Diego to Santa Barbara, California. The more chaotic the better I functioned. The more violent and dangerous, the better leader I became. The more madden and insane the situation, the calmer I became because I was the supervisor, and the decisions would ultimately be made by me.
As the last clip of Charlie Kirk was playing and I was about to go live, I knew in my soul that my calmness could not be ignored. I had to face the fact that I always trust my gut and my inner feelings. This time was no different. Historians will pinpoint the assassination of Charlie Kirk as one of, if not the moment, America changed. We can have an honest discussion on what has changed and what the country will look like when the change is complete. But what honestly cannot be argued is that America is the same after Kirk’s assassination because we are not!
Why is my title of this article warning you, the reader, to be worried? Because when men like me, law enforcement officers, firemen, and military warriors, sense a pending violent situation, we get calm. We get calm because we have to navigate the coming chaos and destruction. Just like every other group of people of likeminded beliefs and careers, law enforcement and military always seem to gravitate towards each other. My law enforcement and military friends all feel the same as I do. The pending chaos, massive cultural changes, and violence is not an if question but a when and how bad question.
I try to always look down the road to see what is coming at me and what the road looks like. Looking six months, one year, five years down this road we are on; there is no good outcome unless critical changes occur and I don’t see any off ramps on this road. Instead, after Kirk’s assassination, the sides have dug in deeper and are ready for a war. We are running out of off ramps. In fact, even if we take one of the last off ramps, we are going so fast and strong, we will never stop in time. Pain, suffering, and national change is coming. How bad will it be is the unknown factor.
Endless number of people in the teaching profession, healthcare, media and entertainment, and service industry are mocking the murder of an innocent man. Politicians and major media outlets state openly that Kirk deserved his death, and they explain the violence away as that is the new normal. There is no new normal because the changes to our nation are happening so quickly.
If I took you back in time to 2015, only ten years ago and showed you 2025, there is no way you or anyone else would believe what has happened to America. Murdering babies outside the mother’s vaginal canal, mutilating children’s bodies to the alter of transgenderism, child sex trafficking, trillions of dollars wasted on foreign nations and their citizens as they pour into America by the tens of millions, not one arrest of the elites for various heinous crimes, the devaluation of our dollar, the American dream is gone, and the secularization of America. The 2015 you would never believe what you were shown. You would adamantly state that 2025 is a lie and bad lie!
The lie has become the truth!
Sides have been chosen.
Good versus evil are the teams.
America is changing in front of our very eyes.
What will America become?
