· 2021: Agencies reported 43,649 officers were assaulted, though the FBI also released nationwide estimates of approximately 79,900 incidents involving weapons for that year, due to a change in data collection methodology to the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS).
· 2020: 60,105 officers were assaulted, an increase of over 4,000 from the previous year.
· Injuries: Historically, about one-third of assaults on police officers result in injury to the officer.
What do the years of 2021 to 2023 all have in common? The answer is all those years fall under Biden. One of the numerous horrors of the mentally impaired Biden Administration was the complete emasculation of law enforcement. Even more sinister was the Biden Administration’s blessing, through multiple narratives and information channels, it was ok to attack and obstruct law enforcement. Biden proudly signed an Executive Order in 2022 titled, “Advancing Effective, Accountable Policing, and Criminal Justice Practices to Enhance Public Trust and Public Safety”. What was Biden’s desired outcome from this EO, “It is therefore the policy of my Administration to increase public trust and enhance public safety and security by encouraging equitable and community-oriented policing. We must commit to new practices in law enforcement recruitment, hiring, promotion, and retention, as well as training, oversight, and accountability. Insufficient resources, including those dedicated to support officer wellness—needed more than ever as officers confront rising crime and the effects of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic—jeopardize the law enforcement community’s ability to build and retain a highly qualified and diverse professional workforce.”
Let me translate what that pile of horseshit means – We are going to change what the term “criminal” means and create a narrative where police are bad, and criminals are victims of society.
How did this EO and the Biden Administration’s intentional denigration of law enforcement turn out? Rampant crime and zero repercussions.
It was even worse for the actual men and women serving in uniform. How bad were the years under Biden for LEOs? FBI analysis confirmed, “Agencies reported 466 assaults with firearms in 2023, which is the highest level in a decade, FBI officials said. That’s up from less than 200 officers assaulted and injured by guns in 2014.
There were 60 officers killed as the result of criminal acts in 2023, compared to 61 the year prior and 73 in 2021.
While those numbers declined over the last three years, there were more officer killings as the result of criminal acts in that time than any other three-year period in the last two decades, FBI officials said.”
These above numbers are even worse when the FBI took all these data in a ten-year block, “The FBI has released preliminary data from its annual report on Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA). The data shows that 2023 saw a 10-year high in officers assaulted.
Agencies providing data to LEOKA reported 79,091 officers were assaulted in 2023. Most officer assaults occurred when responding to simple assaults against a non-officer (6,783 incidents), followed by drug/narcotic violations (4,879).
In a two-day period, there was two ICE involved shooting. One resulted in an anti-ICE protester in Minnesota losing her life and the other was in Portland where two violent illegal aliens tried to run over two ICE Officers. Using vehicles to try and kill ICE Officers are staggering at an increase of 3,200 percent! ICE Officers are under extreme duress of violence, “The data, which cite multiple instances in which attackers used their cars to ram law enforcement, sometimes causing injuries, suggest that Wednesday’s shooting is just one of numerous incidents officers have faced over the past year. Along with the rise in vehicular attacks, authorities also saw more than a 1,300% increase in assaults and an 8,000% increase in death threats toward ICE agents, according to DHS.”
After almost three decades in federal law enforcement, I don’t need anyone to explain to me what, who and why there is evil in the world. I have witnessed evil almost daily in my career. I understand that humanity has fallen and that Satan exists. The Devil manifests himself in the bodies of bad humans. What I am struggling with is how did our society fall so much that the intentional actions to injure and kill LEOs is encouraged and when successful, celebrated.
I instinctively know the answer to my question, but it is still infuriating to know my brothers and sisters in America hate me and my colleagues in uniform. That my own government hates us. That we have all placed ourselves in danger for people that hate us.
Something big is needed to change in our society. Law and order must be forced back into the culture of our lives. The multicultural, diverse, and all-inclusive society is a disease, a cancer in America.
The America we now live in did not exist 20, 30, 40, or 50 years ago.
We have imported third world savages, and we have allowed our “leaders” to rule over us.
Our nation’s foundation is rooted law and order. Without law and order you cannot have freedom and opportunity. In the absence of law and order, there is chaos. Chaos is dangerous.
