Amnesty 2025

Where do I even begin to answer the title of this article!

My fast answer to giving amnesty to farm and service workers (F&S) is a loud, NO!

My more thorough answer is still NO but with more context.

Why? Because I posted this on X, which has received hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of responses in my X post, where I simply stated that amnesty to F&S workers would be a horrible decision.

I immediately received responses stating, โ€œTrump never said amnesty!โ€ As one of the dumbest people to ever be President loved to say, โ€œComeโ€™on man!โ€ I donโ€™t need Trump to say the word โ€œamnestyโ€. If I see a bird with web feet and beautiful feathers waddling across a street, into a pond, and then swims away, do I need someone to point at the bird to tell me that it is a duck? I also donโ€™t need Trump to say the nasty โ€œAโ€ word while stating plainly that he wants to not arrest or deport illegal alien farm and service workers. Just like I donโ€™t need you to tell me that bird that just crossed my path is a duck, I donโ€™t need anyone to tell me the definition of amnesty.

If you are a regular reader of my Substack articles or have read any of my books, you know that I am a strong believer in President Trump, that God appointed him to be the leader of our nation and that I give Trump a lot of grace because of the enormity of the pressing issues America faces. However, I will oppose President Trump every time he broches this topic of an amnesty to F&S workers. This is an afront to everything MAGA believes in and voter for when we all went to the mat for President Trump.

We are either a nation of law and order, or we are not. The mantra from Trump about these are good hard-working people is a lie and quite honestly, he sounds like a Democrat or a Lynsey Graham Republican! In a previous Substack article, I laid bare the lie. I want to concisely state again that the lie falls apart when you realize what Trump is actually stating is Big Ag and Big Service (BA&S) need cheap labor. PERIOD! And we, the citizens of America, subsidize the healthcare, education, housing, food, WIC, SNAP and every other human necessity that cheap hourly labor does not cover. Hell, I donโ€™t even have enough space to cover Earned Income Tax Credits, birthright citizenship, depression of wages, crime, housing crisis, etc., etc.

BA&S already has a legal process to attract and employ foreign labor. This process is called a H2A for temporary or seasonal agriculture and H2B for temporary or seasonal non-agricultural visa. In FY2023, over 310,000 H2A visas and over 113,000 H2B visas were approved. The annual allotment of H2B visas is 66,000 with congressional leeway to increase, which they do utilize.

I think this is great. If we need more workers in whatever economic field is lacking employees, then letโ€™s bring in the needed workers. If honest data proves that a certain economic sector of the economy needs more workers and that increase needs to be codified by congress, then move on it. However, this is where the big lie is told over and over again.

Before I dive further into this pending amnesty for F&S workers, let me give you an example of this lie in the H1B world. H1B visas are for highly skilled workers. Look no further than Silicon Valley and the technological world. This year alone, Microsoft has eliminated 16,000 jobs and in laymen terms that is Microsoft fired 16,000 American workers. As they were firing Americans, they were applying for 6,000 foreign H1B visas. Steven Camarota, director of research at the Center for Immigration Studies, told Newsweek the truth, “In some sense, there’s nothing strange here. You have a situation where the advocacy or use of guest worker programs is entirely always disconnected from the actual behavior of businesses. The actual data we have never supports the idea that we are terribly short of workers in the way that the business community says.” Now why would any business fire employees only to begin the long and expensive process of hiring thousands more employees? Well, after adding up the total costs for recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding foreign workers, it is still less costly than retaining American workers!

This is the exact same reason BA&S are pressuring President Trump to give an amnesty to easily over several million illegal aliens and that is to save money. PERIOD! I just articulated that there is a process to obtain foreign labor, but BA&S refused to use that system. Why? Because if they use this legal immigration pathway, BA&S will have to pay the going legal wage, pay into Workerโ€™s Comp, Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, state and federal taxes and every other thing associated with legal workers. BA&S wants the cheap labor, and they want American taxpayers to pay for everything else.

I want to make this point that this demand for cheap illegal foreign labor is not coming from small farms but from the foreign owned and large agriculture companies. Look at this interesting article from Blaze Media describing the lie, โ€œThis policy isnโ€™t about helping โ€œfarmers.โ€ Itโ€™s a gift to foreign-owned industrial agriculture giants like JBS and other multinationals that built their business models on cheap labor, government handouts, and total control over every link in the supply chain. These are the corporations responsible for wiping out independent family farms across the country.โ€ The author of this article names small โ€œfarmsโ€ that follow the law and that are successful, โ€œLook at White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Georgia. Or Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia. Or Meriwether Farms out in Wyoming. These arenโ€™t fantasy models. Theyโ€™re real, thriving operations built on legal labor, strong local roots, and, when needed, carefully managed visa programs.โ€ Blaze Media states in this article the reason for the demand of cheap and illegal labor, โ€œDHS basically gave corporate amnesty to the likes of Tyson, Smithfield, JBS, Cargill โ€” you name it. These are companies that depend on cheap, illegal labor to keep their bloated, centralized model afloat.โ€

Blaze Media ends this article with a very honest and blunt message to Trump, โ€œTrump has a chance to change course โ€” one that truly puts Americans first. That means backing the producers who follow the law, hiring citizens or legal workers, and building food systems that support independence, not dependence.โ€

Will President Trump deliver on his promise of Making America Great Again and making decisions that benefit America and her citizens?

My money is always on Trump, but I will say someone, or some people have Trumpโ€™s ear, and they are lying to him.

Why?

The answer is as clear as day, all you have to do is lookโ€ฆ

BA&S, Democrats, Republicans, the Better Business Bureau, and the Chamber of Congress demand slaves!
