EXECUTIVE BRIEF: When Will We Fight Back? America keeps pretending every crime story is the same. It is not. When the victim is White and the attacker is Black, the cameras go quiet, the adjectives get soft, and the sermon is always about “root causes.” That is not justice. That is a lie with a press badge. Scripture does not grade sin by skin. Murder is murder. Robbery is robbery. A father has a duty to protect his house. A church has a duty to tell the truth. Fighting back does not mean becoming the mob. It means refusing the script, naming patterns the elites bury, locking your doors, training your sons, and voting like your neighborhood still matters. Silence is not holiness. Cowardice dressed up as compassion is still cowardice. Enough.

PRACTICAL TIPS: Treat your home like it is worth defending. Lights on, doors locked, cameras working, phone charged. Know your state’s self-defense law before you need it. Walk with your head up. Travel in pairs after dark. Keep a legal flashlight and a charged phone. Teach your family a simple rally point if something goes sideways. Prayer first, panic never. Prepared people are harder to pick off, and harder to gaslight.

Scripture is clear that rulers are supposed to punish evil and protect the good. When justice stalls, the republic frays from the inside. Americans who voted for accountability are left watching the same faces on television night after night. Preparedness starts with clear eyes about who still holds the levers of power and what they will do with them if left unchecked. Faith demands we name the failure out loud and keep the pressure on the original pledge instead of pretending the silence is strategy.

That order built stable homes and restrained government. Expanded suffrage tracked with the rise of the welfare state, no-fault divorce, and policies that reward single motherhood over marriage. Voting patterns split hard by sex on spending, immigration, and crime. Men and women are not interchangeable. Pretending otherwise cost us cohesion. America traded paternal duty for emotional politics, and the bill keeps coming due in broken homes and bloated budgets.
