EXECUTIVE BRIEF: White Karens! Look, nobody gets under the skin of hardworking Americans faster than the entitled, screeching white Karen. You know exactly who I’m talking about – the woman who demands to speak to the manager because her latte isn’t hot enough, or the one who calls the cops on kids selling lemonade without a permit, or worse, the ones weaponizing their tears and victimhood to control everyone around them. These are the self-appointed hall monitors of society who think rules don’t apply to them but everyone else better toe the line. What makes it infuriating is how they cloak their nastiness in fake politeness and progressive virtue-signaling while destroying lives with one phone call or viral video. They embody everything wrong with a culture that rewards outrage over reason and entitlement over personal responsibility. As Christians, we’re called to patience and grace, but Scripture also tells us to rebuke evil and stand for truth. Karens represent petty tyranny in everyday life, and they’re a symptom of a deeper rot where accountability is gone and feelings trump facts. We’ve all dealt with them at stores, schools, or neighborhoods, and it’s time we call it out plainly: this behavior isn’t “strong woman” energy, it’s sinful pride run amok. Enough is enough.

PRACTICAL TIPS: When you spot a Karen meltdown brewing, stay calm and don’t feed the beast. The goal isn’t to win an argument, it’s to protect your peace and expose the nonsense without sinning yourself. I have conversations with my 14-year-old son that black sharecroppers had with their sons. I imagine those conversations went something like this: “Son, God made you in His image so be proud of who you are and the way God made you.”, “Son, your black skin is beautiful. You were made perfectly by God!”, and maybe, “Son, don’t you ever let anyone demean you, denigrate you, or make you feel less than because of the color of your skin.”, and finally I believe that black sharecropper shared my contempt for racists, “Son, fuck all them racists!”

It’s time to reclaim that without apology, because losing it means losing the soul of our nation.
